This season, Mr. Romero returns to the role of Alfredo in La traviata with the Bregenz Music Festival and Teatro Cervantes de Málaga.
He makes his debut with the Lyric Opera of Kansas and the Prague National Theatre singing Rodolfo in La bohème, and joins the San Diego Opera as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto.
Mr. Romero appears as the tenor soloist in Apocalipsis with the RTVE Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, and performs in concert with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra in Finland.
He also appears as guest artist with the Asociación Mexicana de Maestros de Canto (AMMCA) in Torreón, Mexico, presenting a concert and masterclass. The season concludes with his debut at the Metropolitan Opera, where he covers the role of Cassio in Verdi’s masterpiece Otello.
