This season, Mr. Romero joins Teatro Lirico D'Europa and the Daytona Symphony as the Duke of Mantua in their production of Rigoletto, and will also be making his Florida Grand Opera debut as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto. He will also be making his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic singing Jaquino in their upcoming production of Fidelio under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, and returns to join Nederlandse Reisopera singing Rodolfo in their production of La bohème.
Furthermore, Mr. Romero will also be making his debut with San Francisco Symphony singing the role of the Sheperd in Oedipus Rex led by Maestro Esa-Pekka Salonen, making his debut with the Opera Festival of Chicago singing the role of Corrado in Il Corsaro, and is stepping in last minute to sing the role of Rodolfo with the 2022 Grand Teton Music Festival in a concert version of La bohème.
Next Season Mr. Romero will be joining Staatsoper Hannover in for their 2022-2023 season singing Chevalier de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites, Rodolfo in La bohème, and Tsarevich Gvidon in The Tale of Tsar Saltan. In addition Mr. Romero will also be making his Berlin debut sining the role of Laërt with Komische Oper Berlin in their production of Hamlet.
